Accidents
As I walk slowly on the road
Witnessing the daily scenes unfold
Two-wheelers, buses and lorries go
Oblivious to the post warning “go slow”!
My heart skips a beat, as I retreat
On seeing a bus brake close to my feet
There’s total turmoil everywhere
Most of us- pedestrians are left unspared
These monstrous four-wheelers
Are virtually potential killers
Unleashing terror, they always zoom
Leaving a trail of horror and gloom
If only the drivers make a vow
To respect rules and drive slow
Peace and sanity can be ensured
Safety on roads shall be restored.
